Sports Column, "NO RANDY MOSS!"

I think that it was a very bad decision for the Vikings to get Randy Moss again and here's why. First off, Moss is a ignorant person who only does what he wants. If he doesn't like anything relating to his teammates, contract, or god knows what else, he wont try. I can remember sometimes back when we had Culpepper and there were times where Moss would miss a block on an outside run or run the wrong route on purpose. What about those failed one handed catches he always tries to make? He's just sabotaging his own team! Second, he has way to high of an ego. Remember how he would get busted for using marijuana? Mooning the Packer fans? (Personally, this is a special case where I respect Moss for doing something like that) What about the Love Cruise in 2005? He didn't seem very sorry about doing this. Honestly, most people wouldn't. Since he isn't married it really isn't that big of a deal. But it still is breaking the law and he has already done that way too many times. Third, he is a very bad influence. The NFL has been trying extremely hard to crack down on all of the drugs and gang stuff that was happening with the NFL's players. But think about this, how did it get to be such a big problem? Influence is the answer. Players got others to try it and it just kept spreading. Also, you can also teach teammates how to hassle your team and your coach to get what you want like Moss has been doing. Fourth, how hard do you really think he is going to try? Relating this back to my first point about something he doesn't like. He also won't try if he knows that a team needs him. The Vikings right now need a good wide receiver to cover for Sidney Rice since Bernard Berrian isn't picking up the slack. Since he knows that if we want any hope of reaching the playoffs we need to do it through someone, (which is now him) how do you think he's going to respond to that? I think I know how. Brad Childress has made another bad decision and we should get rid of Moss before he messes up our team again!!! (and bread childress!)

EA sports should make a college hockey video game

EA sports should start investing in making a brand new college hockey video game series because it would increase their profits, great experience, and it would be fun. Making it would be a very wise decision if they sell it just right.

In case you didn't  know, EA sports is the company that makes half of the sports video games in most of the world. EA sports has been making Madden NFL games, NHL, MLB, FIFA, World cup, College sports. Pretty much any major sport that you can think of, they have made. Well, all but college hockey and college baseball. But that's baseball and as we all know, hockey is way more fun to play and especially more fun to watch.

EA sports should really consider making a college hockey video game. Now some might be thinking that not a lot of people are going to buy this game because it is only popular with a small part of the world. Not true. Granted, I don't think many people south of Missouri are die hard hockey fans (Other then the places where people from the north retire). But you may want to consider that it isn't just the northern states that are hockey fans. Our northern neighbors are some of the best hockey fans that you will see anywhere (other then Minnesota).

I will admit, a lot of people might not buy college hockey in the southern areas. If this is really a concern about loss in profits, then just raise the price a bit to cover the loss. Most hockey fans that I know are passionate about it. I know that I am and a little higher of a price tag isn't going to stop me from buying it and trying it out.

There's also one more thing that I wanna say for my argument. NHL has been making some of the best graphics in the sport's video game industry for a while now. First game realistic looking jerseys, players and referees. Then more control in stick motion and shooting. Lastly, they made 3D fans cheering that don't have twins in another section in the same seat. Think about this, these great graphics getting applied to college life and sporting events and you have got one hell of a great video game. I can't say have had any more fun then going to a college rivalry game.

So if I were in charge of EA sports, I would seriously consider making a college hockey video game series. It will grow and become very popular with a good reputation like college football or NHL. I also would like to play to make the Gophers better then how they have been doing in the past few years.
